What are the rooms like?

The rooms are suite-style, with 2 double and 2 singles. Everyone has their own bedroom, with a shared bathroom. In the middle of the suite, there is one unfurnished common space. Who gets which rooms depends on a first come-first served basis. 

How many people share a suite?

There will be a maximum of 4 interns per room. You are allowed to request a suitemate if you and that person reach out to me separately about wanting to stay in a suite together. This does not mean you will be the only ones in that suite.

Do you offer air conditioning?

No, we do not. If you bring an A/C unit, you are responsible for putting it in the window and informing us that you brought one.

What furniture do you offer?

We provide a bed, mattress, desk, chair, and drawers. The rooms have an installed closet.

Do you have kitchens?

There is a communal kitchen on the ground floor of the dorm. It has a fridge, stove, and microwave. We ask that all interns do their best to keep it clean and the refrigerator clear of any expired or unused items.

What about laundry?

There is free access to washers and dryers in the basement of the dorm.

What should I bring?

You should bring the items you would typically bring to a dorm room. Including, but not limited to sheets, shower curtains, towels, a mini fridge (if desired), pots and pans, etc. We provide toilet paper.

What is parking like?

You will receive a free parking pass for the time that you are here to put in your car. There are parking spaces all around campus that you can park in. Parking may become busy during on-campus events.
