Simmons University is a private university located in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood, near the Longwood Medical Area and some of the city’s leading educational, medical, cultural, and professional institutions.
Our campus offers interns a NEW residential experience in the heart of Boston, with housing, dining, fitness, study, and community spaces located in one convenient setting. The compact campus makes it easy to move between residence, dining, recreation, and shared spaces without leaving the University.
Simmons provides a welcoming and secure environment for summer residents, with on-site staff support, 24-hour campus security, and convenient access to public transportation. Whether commuting to an internship or spending the summer exploring Boston, residents have a comfortable campus home base close to many of the city’s major employers and destinations.

Registration for Summer 2027 will open January 2027.
Beginning in summer 2027, interns can stay in Simmons University’s brand-new Living and Learning Center in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood.
All intern accommodations are air-conditioned and offered as private, single-occupancy bedrooms. Residents also have access to complimentary Wi-Fi and laundry, shared kitchens and lounges, and convenient on-site dining and recreation facilities.
A minimum stay of 28 nights is required. Room types are subject to availability.

Living & Learning Center
The Living and Learning Center is a modern, fully furnished residence hall located on Simmons University’s Fenway campus.
While the building includes a variety of residential room types, summer interns are housed in single-occupancy accommodations.
