Simmons University is a private university located in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood, near the Longwood Medical Area and some of the city’s leading educational, medical, cultural, and professional institutions.

Our campus offers interns a residential experience in the heart of Boston, with housing, dining, fitness, study, and community spaces located in one convenient setting. The compact campus makes it easy to move between residence, dining, recreation, and shared spaces without leaving the University.

Simmons provides a welcoming and secure environment for summer residents, with on-site staff support, 24-hour campus security, and convenient access to public transportation. Whether commuting to an internship or spending the summer exploring Boston, residents have a comfortable campus home base close to many of the city’s major employers and destinations.

Beginning in summer 2027, interns can stay in Simmons University’s new Living and Learning Center. Intern housing is offered in air-conditioned, single-occupancy rooms with communal or semi-private bathroom configurations, subject to availability.

A minimum stay of 28 nights is required.

Traditional Housing

Single Room — $625 per person, per week

Semi-Private Housing

Air-Conditioned | Bathroom Shared Between Two Rooms

Semi-Private Single Room — $675 per person, per week
