About Us
Tulane University offers a safe, convenient, and vibrant home for summer interns and researchers in New Orleans. Located in the historic Uptown neighborhood, our campus provides easy access to the downtown business district via the iconic St. Charles streetcar line. Interns live in a dedicated community, offering a unique opportunity to network with fellow students from across the country working in the Crescent City.
Who Can Stay Here?
Payment Methods
Interns are housed in suite-style accommodations on the Uptown Campus, with options for private or shared bedrooms.
Pricing:
- Single: $42 per night per person
- Double: $36 per night per person
Single-occupancy rooms have no more than 1 person assigned, and double-occupancy rooms have no more than 2 people assigned.
Room & Building Features
- Furnished Suite: Bedrooms include a twin XL bed, double-sided memory foam mattress, desk, dresser, and chair.
- Semi-private bathroom shared with another intern
- On-Site Laundry: Access to free laundry facilities within the building.
- Community Kitchen: Access to shared kitchen spaces in the building.
- Fully Air-Conditioned: all residence hall spaces are climate-controlled.
- Connectivity: Free high-speed wireless internet is included.
- Security: Secure building access and University Conference student staff on-call 24/7 for emergencies.
Available for An Additional Fee:
- Linen Service: $5 per night (includes blanket, pillow/case, flat sheets, and towel)
- Fitness Center: $4 per night for access to the Reily Recreation Center
- Parking: On-campus parking is available for an additional fee via Tulane Parking Services.
- Dining: Summer meal options are coordinated through Tulane Dining Services and can be contacted at dining@tulane.edu.
