About Us
Summer Intern Housing at University of Maine at Augusta is available to students fulfilling internships with local businesses or various Maine State Departments, Offices or Agencies. Located near Augusta’s downtown area, UMA’s Summer lodging facilities are nestled in the historic town of Hallowell along the Kennebec River, only two miles south of the capitol park complex. UMA Summer lodging is near dozens of restaurants and cafes, parks, cultural and shopping districts, and many outdoor activities.

Stevens Commons features over Seventy-five+ beds available in furnished suites, with additional amenities on-site for Summer Interns. This modern and affordable Summer Lodging is located within a short 5-minute drive of Downtown Augusta, and within walking distance of local retailers and restaurants.

Stevens Commons features fully furnished suites, with additional amenities for Summer Interns. This modern and affordable Summer Intern lodging option is located within a short 5-minute drive to Downtown Augusta, and within walking distance of local retailers and restaurants in Hallowell.
The newly renovated Stevens Commons offer suite style rooms that feature open layouts with sun-filled rooms, single and double bedrooms, and kitchen, dining, and bath spaces. One-, two-, and three-bedroom suites are available. Most bedrooms are approximately 10 X 10, but there is variation in shape and size. Each suite has one private bathroom which will be shared by 1-4 students.

Any item with an open flame including candles, incense, oil burning lamps, etc. Lighters are permitted for those students who smoke but you may only smoke/vape off campus property / outside of Stevens Hall. UMA is a tobacco-free campus.
