Madison Holcomb shared her 2024 summer internship experience at St. Louis Public Radio in St. Louis, MO, while staying at Washington University in St. Louis:
For my summer 2024 internship, I worked at St. Louis Public Radio as a news intern, where I reported on a wide range of stories in St. Louis and the surrounding area. I used Intern Housing Hub to find summer housing, and it was a great option. While on campus at Washington University, I had a comfortable living situation and access to a variety of restaurants and activities nearby.
Most importantly, I met some of the best friends I've ever made while living in the university housing. I befriended two girls a few doors down from my room, and we spent the summer exploring the city together and making amazing memories. Even though we live across the country from each other now, we still keep in touch by FaceTiming every week.
